When should I order oil?
AJ's Oil always promises to deliver no later than your guaranteed "Deliver By" date, so it is always best to plan ahead. We recommend never letting your gauge go below 1/4 full. That way, if you have to wait over the weekend, you should have plenty of oil to get you through until we make it to you.
What do I do if I wait too long to order and may run out of oil?
Always let us know – the best way to do that is to contact us at our office. If you call us after-hours or when we are too busy to take your call, you will be connected with our 24/7 answering service, and they can let us know. We always try our best to get people in ASAP if they are in danger of running out; we don’t want anyone to be cold! You should also know that you may use a small amount of diesel fuel from the gas station to prevent yourself from running out completely before your delivery is made.
I need oil now, but AJ's Oil is closed. What should I do?
Always let us know by contacting us. We have a 24/7 answering service that will notify our on-call office manager so that you can make plans to get an oil delivery right away. Please keep in mind that after-hours emergency deliveries may incur a fee. Fees vary by delivery location. To avoid any emergency oil delivery fees, you may use diesel fuel from the gas station to keep yourself running until we are able to deliver to you during normal business hours.
I ran out of oil. What can I do?
Always let us know – we will make sure to get you an oil delivery as soon as we possibly can. In the meantime, you will need to make plans to have your oil line bled so that once you have oil, the system can be restarted. If you have the ability to do this yourself, you may fill your tank with a small amount of diesel fuel from the gas station to hold yourself over until we arrive.
Will AJ's Oil honor a price match?
Absolutely! We doubt you will find a price much better than ours, but if you do, we will happily honor a price match! Please keep in mind that we must be able to verify that the price match request is legitimate and is being offered under the same delivery terms as AJ's Oil offers.
Will weather impact my guaranteed 'Deliver By Date'?
It is unlikely. In severe cases there may be a slight delay, but we will always make sure to let you know so that you are aware. We have plenty of experience delivering in bad weather, so even if there is a nor’easter, make sure you put your check outside for the driver!
